What I really loved in this Cynthia Rowley's collection was the riddled with circles -laser cut from fabrics, applied liberally in the form of graduated cabochon stones. It seems to me like bubble-shaped cutouts offered glimpses of flesh here, there, and everywhere. That's new! and fresh! and cool! In fact any of the gorgeous pieces with pyramids of cabochons and the garments with laser-cut circles are to die for.
Even the circular perforations and their equal-and-opposites, the cabochon buttons that adorned dresses, skirts, and slinky pants, dominated the show I felt in love with the pop-y graphic patterns. This was a sweet collection but sexy too, as Lacoste said " Un peau d'air sur terre".
