I really like Vera Wang and his free-artistic spirit with something indie but without the non-wearable pieces of others out of the mainstream. But Vera Wang is pretty commercial, we didn´t forget that she dressed famous brides like Chelsea Clinton latest.
This Spring 2011 collection has the both sides of the feminine/masculine and I like that. On the sweeter side: draped, body-loving sheaths in beautiful lush florals, and hand-ruched tulle dresses in shades of poppy, citrine, and blush pink suspended from corseted underpinnings. On the boyish side martial arts-inflected pieces, apparently inspired by the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill. I loved droopy derriere pants, many of them belted with black "sumo" rope.
