The Frozen Wastes

The Frozen Wastes are an icy desert, with temperatures that vary from -10°C to -110°C. Here lies the only city of the Elders on Yaqqothl, the forgotten Iluéh of the Ten Thousand Crystal Towers, which is also the only civilized outpost of the Wastes. Icy winds sweep these wastelands continuously, shaping weird and chilling sculptures in the eternal ice. Mastodons, Yetis and many other otherworldly abominations haunt this frightening land, from its borders to the deepest depths of its caverns. As if this were not enough, the Elders constantly monitor these lands using their dire probe droids, so that none can enter their realm unseen.

Because of the very low temperatures, all the undead in the Frozen Wastes are considered as monsters with double their hit dice for both purposes of tracking hit points and fighting capabilities, and they have a -2 bonus to Armor Class.
