Ok, Wait

"Here's the other point I'd make - sure, there are plenty of folks making stats for Lovecraftian critters - when was the last time someone put together a seriously cool Lovecraftian adventure for D&D?"
This was posted by Beedo in the comments on my last post. Call it coincidence, but today I gave away a large part of my collection (many italian rpgs, along with some strange stuff I will never use) in place of a handful of modules and manuals. Here's a list of what I aquired:
  • Ars Magica (it)
  • Pathfinder Core Rules (it)
  • Pathfinder Bestiary (it)
  • AD&D 2e Monstrous Manual (en)
  • AD&D 2e Complete Psionics Handbook (en)
  • AD&D 2e Arms & Equipment Guide (en)
  • X2 Castle Amber (it)
  • X1 Isle of Dread (en, first printing)
All these manuals and modules are awesome (heck, the Monstrous Manual is outstanding!), but X1 and X2 are particularly interesting. X1, for example, is a huge wilderness crawl and the module that probably defined the concept of "sandbox" as we know it today. So, the question is: what do you expect from Yaqqothl? Something like Arduin Grimoire, with plenty of monsters, spells and random tables, or something more similar to X1? Or maybe something in the middle, like Carcosa. And even more important, what would you prefer to see?
