The Forgotten Marshes

A vast mire infested with countless giant flying insects, oozes, parasites and mutant amphibians. The air is putrid, musty and poisonous, making it almost impossible to live here. In the deepest recesses of the Forgotten Marshes lies the Lost Temple of Thsuggahàru, built eons ago by the Aynår, a mutated breed of toad-like humanoids. Here they worshipped Thsuggahàru, the Blind Tormentor, who fled from the Lost City of Sarnath where the Eternal Lords of Yaqqothl had created it. Still, the Forgotten Marshes are one of the most important destinations for the spice merchants of Yaqqothl, since it is only here that a flower known as the Iridescent Lotus grows, which yields the most valuable and powerful hallucinogen of this world.
