Remember when the Old Guy ChicagoWiz asked about the OSR equivalent of projects like Empire of the Petal Throne and Blackmoor? Well, it looks like the time has finally come. Let me also say that IX used very impressive artwork for it! I couldn't imagine it illustrated any better.
On the other hand, Evan @ In Places Deep has some proposals for a Community Designed Megadungeon, which I suggest you check out. The idea, in short, is to create a bunch of one-hour dungeon maps, key in the special rooms, and leave everything else for the various DMs to key. I'm very happy with this one, and I would be glad to see a complete pdf with all the entries published on the net! I imagine it to be just like the Good 'Ol Mines of Khunmar, with tons of maps and the levels barely fleshed out.
