The Slivering Princess Enigma

Honestly, I can't understand how J. Raggi IV can be so awesome. Really. I own three Raggi's adventures (Death Frost Doom, Hammers of the God and Tower of the Stargazer), and these all are not only well written, but also outstanding in the way they merge, almost perfectly, weird brutality and classic vanilla fantasy. I swear, that guy's amazing (except when annoyingly pedantic). By the way, Raggi has much to say about the kind of fairy fantasy that I like.
